HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") hereby informs you how personal video information processed in the Company is used and managed through our fixed video surveillance device operation and management policy.
1. Legal Basis and Purpose for the Installation of Fixed Video Surveillance Devices
The Company installs and operates fixed video surveillance devices for the following purposes by Article 25, Paragraph 1 of the "Personal Information Protection Act":
- Facility safety, parking management, and fire prevention
- Crime prevention for the safety of customers and employees
- Protection of business premises and prevention of unauthorized entry by outsiders

- Processing Method: Personal video information is handled strictly according to intended use. Records of usage, third-party provision, destruction, and access requests are managed. Upon expiration of the retention period, the information is permanently deleted using methods that make restoration impossible (physical copies are shredded or incinerated).
5. Matters Concerning the Entrustment of Installation and Management of Fixed Video Surveillance Devices
The Company entrusts the installation and management of fixed video surveillance devices as described below, and necessary measures are stipulated in the entrustment contract according to related laws to ensure that personal information is securely managed:

7. Measures Regarding Requests for Access to Personal Video Information by Data Subjects
You may request access, confirmation of existence, or deletion of your personal video information at any time from the operator of the fixed video surveillance devices, limited to the video information you are recorded. The Company will take necessary measures without delay upon a request for access, confirmation of existence, or deletion of personal video information.
8. Security Measures for Personal Video Information
Personal video information processed by the Company is securely managed through encryption and other measures. Additionally, as an administrative measure to protect personal video information, the Company restricts access rights to personal information. It records the creation date and time of the personal video information, the purpose of access, the viewer, and the time of access to prevent tampering or altering personal video information. Physical security measures, such as locks, are also installed to ensure the safe physical storage of personal video information.
9. Changes to the Fixed Video Surveillance Device Operation and Management Policy
This Fixed Video Surveillance Device Operation and Management Policy was established on June 18, 2025. Changes, additions, or deletions to the content due to changes in laws, policies, or security technology will be announced on the Company's website at least seven days before implementation.
